In America, gang colors didn’t come from nowhere —
they’re fragments of an old Indigenous 4-direction system our ancestors lived by:
🔴 SOUTH (Fire)
Red groups carry the fire frequency — action, heat, frontline protection.
🔵 WEST (Water/Shadow)
There’s a reason “Farmers vs. Planters” hits different when you sit with it.
It ain’t just agriculture.
It’s America’s split spirit… the original fork in the road.
When our ancestors worked the land as Farmers, they weren’t just surviving — they were building the world.
Their hands were calloused, yes.
But their hearts were tender toward life.
Before colonizers forced father-line systems, our people here — Indigenous and African — followed the mother’s line:
Your clan, identity, and belonging came from your mama’s people.
Women chose leaders, held land, and decided direction.
Children were raised by the mother’s whole tribe — Aunties, grandmamas, cousins.
Spiritual power flowed through the women: midwives, water keepers, dreamers, healers.
